Tottenham looking at making a double swoop for exciting teenage brothers

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham have made American brothers, Taylor and Zack Booth transfer targets, according to the latest transfer speculation from the Daily Mail.

18-year-old Taylor plays for Bayern Munich’s youth team and made an impression on the Lilywhites when he shone in his team’s UEFA Youth League game against Tottenham.

He assisted two goals and almost scored one himself as the Germans eliminated the Spurs youth side with a 3-0 win.

He has a deal with Bayern until 2022, but a lack of a first-team breakthrough has brought him to the attention of Spurs and could put them in a good position to take advantage.

His younger brother Zack still plays in the youth setup of Real Salt Lake and has already had a trial at Tottenham.

He has been impressing for the United States’ Under-17 side and the 16-year-old has been tipped to have a big future in the game.

His senior brother has, however, shown more of his abilities, thriving in several midfield roles including as a central midfielder and as a box to box player.

With the coronavirus hitting Spurs’ finances hard, the club could be forced into not making a major signing in the summer.

However, they will very likely still be looking to sign young players who have high resale value and have the potential to take the big step up to the senior team.
