Tottenham leading the race for unsettled Man Utd man

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham is one of the leading teams in the race to sign Manchester United’s goalkeeper, Dean Henderson.

The Lilywhites might lose Hugo Lloris in the summer with PSG keen to reunite him with Mauricio Pochettino.

The Frenchman has just a year left on his current Tottenham deal and there has been no talk of a new contract being offered to him just yet.

Henderson has been relegated to the second choice at United after starring at Sheffield United on loan last season.

His form for the Blades even earned him an England cap, but he has been unable to usurp David de Gea to become the number one at Old Trafford.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is set to choose between both goalies in the summer and it seems the Norwegian boss has decided to stick by De Gea.

This means Henderson will likely find a new team in the summer and Sky Sports say Spurs and Borussia Dortmund are leading the race for his signature.

Lloris is one of the most experienced goalkeepers in England and is highly regarded in the game, Spurs will want to replace him with a goalie that also has a lot of quality and class which Henderson has.

He signed a new long-term deal at United recently and that will have driven up his transfer fee.

We’re not leading any race. Sky Sports News Understands always forget the Last Minute Levy Scupper, in the same way they forget football existed before 1992.

These reports are meaningless. Until you see the player holding up the shirt, nothing is happening.

It’s been a long time since anything “inspiring” has happened David. How many of our youngsters are eligible?

He’s playing the lads who need the confidence boost. Docherty needs it above all. Davies has been looking shot of it too.

Very uninspiring team selection against the Austrian outfit.
Doherty has been selected. Enough said!

Good keeper but with him extending his contract probably going to push his transfer fee beyond what DL will pay
