Tottenham January transfer window plans revealed

By Bruce Grove -

Tottenham had an excellent summer transfer window as they prepared to for a successful campaign under Jose Mourinho.

The Lilywhites had made him their manager towards the end of last year and he dragged them from outside the top ten to qualify for the Europa League this season.

He has the CV of a winner and the club doesn’t want to miss the chance of helping him win the silverware that they desire.

The likes of Carlos Vinicius, Matt Doherty and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg joined the club in the summer and they have all contributed to the club’s early success.

The January transfer window presents teams with the opportunity to bolster their squads yet again, and Tottenham is one team that will be looking at the market.

With the business that they did in the summer, fans will think that they will not need players again, but ESPN claims that Spurs would like to add a centre back to their team and they will also want to refresh their midfield.

It, however, adds that they will probably not sign anyone because they are looking more towards the summer market.

That said, if a deal that Daniel Levy cannot resist comes along, he might seal it.

Sorry Bruce you have revealed nothing about our January transfer business. Some Punter on ESPN mentions something about a CB and we all read this morning that Inter would allegedly let us have Skrinia for 45 M,so no news there really. And there’s nothing like hedging your bets by saying that we will do nothing unless Levy spots a bargain.
