Tottenham has been linked with a move for Olympique Marseille midfielder, Morgan Sanson as the French side look to sell some of their stars.
A report from France’s L’Equipe via Sports Witness claims that the French side has to sell some of their players even though the club’s president is denying that.
The report claims that is because they have financial troubles even though they will be playing in the Champions League next season.
Sanson is one of the players that has been tipped to leave the French side, however, the midfielder is reportedly only attracting the attention of teams like Crystal Palace and West Ham.
But the player isn’t interested in joining any of those team and he has set his sights on bigger English sides.
The top English teams that he would apparently look to play for includes Tottenham.
Jose Mourinho has plans to strengthen his team this summer but the players that could join Spurs may be unknowns due to a potentially limited budget and Sanson probably hopes that he will get an approach from the Lilywhites.
It should be noted that he has already been linked with a move to the Tottenham stadium this year as we reported here.
Sanson played an important role in helping Marseille qualify for the Champions League this season as he played 27 league game, scoring five times and providing the same number of assists.
