Tottenham have ‘shown interest’ in 26-year-old winger with 16 goal contributions

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur have ‘shown interest’ in signing the Leeds United winger Jack Harrison as per Football Insider.

Leeds United have been relegated to the Championship after a disappointing league campaign and they are likely to lose a number of key players this summer.

Harrison has proven himself to be a reliable performer in the top flight and he will want to join a Premier League club this summer. It will be interesting to see if Tottenham can agree on a deal with the Whites for the 26-year-old winger.

Harrison is versatile enough to play on either flank and he could prove to be a useful acquisition for Tottenham. The north London giants need to add more quality and depth through their attack and Harrison will add goals and creativity from the wide areas.

Despite playing in a struggling Leeds United side, the 26-year-old winger has 6 goals and 10 assists to his name across all competitions. He could compete with the likes of Dejan Kulusevski and Richarlison for a starting spot next season.

A move to Tottenham would be the ideal next step in his career and he would get to play for a club capable of challenging for trophies.

It has been a poor campaign for Tottenham but they have a talented squad at their disposal and there is no reason why they cannot compete for trophies in next year with a quality manager in charge.

The former Manchester City winger is likely to be tempted if there is a concrete offer on the table and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Tottenham certainly have the finances to pull off the transfer and Leeds could be under pressure to sell him for a reasonable price after being relegated to the Championship.
