According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham have identified Brazilian striker Arthur Cabral as a possible replacement for Harry Kane.
Harry Kane’s future at the club remains uncertain. He has been strongly linked with a move away from the club this summer with Bayern Munich the front-runners to sign him.
They have already had two bids rejected for him worth £60m and £70m but they are expected to come back to Spurs with an improved offer.
Meanwhile, they have already reportedly convinced the player to join them with manager Thomas Tuchel playing a key role in poaching him.
As per the latest reports, Kane has made the decision that he will not sign the new contract Spurs have offered him. However, he will also not force an exit but will leave if the club accepts a bid from a suitor.
Tottenham now risk losing him on a free next summer if they fail to reach an agreement with Bayern Munich.
The club has been linked with several players touted as the England striker’s replacement and the latest is Brazilian striker Arthur Cabral who plays for Fiorentina.
He is a prolific striker and is an expert penalty taker. With FC Basel, he scored 65 goals and assisted 17 in 106 appearances and with the Italian club last season, he scored 17 goals and assisted 2 in 48 appearances.
Replacing Kane will be no easy task and not many players would come to fill the void that the striker will leave at Spurs if he leaves.
With Kane deciding against signing a new contract, it will be in the club’s best interest to reach an agreement to sell him as soon as they can so they have time to find an adequate replacement for him.
In case Levy decides against selling him, that would be a bold decision from him as he would risk losing him on a free next summer.
