Tottenham fighting for 20-year-old South American striker

Tottenham is one of several clubs interested in a move for Inter Milan striker, Martin Satriano.

The 20-year-old Uruguayan is yet to break into their first-team squad, but he has been doing well for their Primavera 1 team.

He was on target on 14 occasions from 25 matches last season and has continued to attract the attention of top European teams.

The Daily Mail says Tottenham and the likes of Everton and West Ham are monitoring him.

Inter Milan has serious financial problems and they are keen to cash in on some of their players to solve that.

Although they believe Satriano is a star for the future, they are open to selling him because they know that he can fetch them a good transfer fee.

Tottenham would need a striker this summer if they sell Harry Kane. They will also need one to back up the England captain if he remains in N17.

The Lilywhites had Carlos Vinicius on loan from Benfica last season but he didn’t impress them enough to earn a permanent transfer.

A new striker will probably join them, and they could sign Satriano if they don’t want to spend too much money on an established star.
