Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing the Sporting CP midfielder Morten Hjulmand at the end of the season.

According to a report from CaughtOffside, they could look to submit an offer for him at the end of the season. Sporting CP values the player at around €50-60 million, and Tottenham certainly have the finances to get the deal done.

They could use a reliable defensive midfielder next season. Yves Bissouma has been linked with a move away from the club, and the Mali International has not been at his best either.

Hjulmand could be tempted to move to the Premier League, and Tottenham could be an exciting opportunity for him. They will allow him the platform to compete at a high level consistently. Tottenham have an exciting squad and an ambitious project. Even though they have struggled this season, they might be able to fight for trophies in the coming season.

The 25-year-old Danish international could be excited to be a part of the project. However, Tottenham are not the only Premier League club keen on the player, and they will face competition from Manchester United and Arsenal. It will be interesting to see if they can win the race for his signature.

Arsenal need a quality defensive midfielder as well, especially with players like Thomas Partey expected to move on in the summer. Arsenal need someone who can protect their back four and break down the opposition’s attacking moves. The 25-year-old Danish international could be the ideal fit for them.

Both clubs could be exciting destinations for the midfielder, and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
