Tottenham could sell player with 47 first-team appearances for €70 million

Tottenham Hotspur signed Brazilian striker Richarlison for a fee of around £60 million from Everton at the start of last season.

The striker was expected to develop into a key player for the north London club but things have not gone according to plan for him. The former Everton striker has not been able to live up to the expectations and his performances have been rather underwhelming.

He has made 47 appearances across all competitions for Tottenham scoring just five goals across all competitions. It is evident that the transfer has not worked out and Richarlison has been linked with the move away from Tottenham.

A report from TuttoMercatoWeb claims that Tottenham could now sanction his departure if the right offer comes along. Apparently, Tottenham would demand no less than €70 million for the Brazilian striker. It will be interesting to see if any club is willing to pay that kind of money for him in the coming months.

Richarlison was expected to step up and fill the void left by Harry Kane at the Premier League club but he has failed to do so. It will be interesting to see if the Brazilian can get his career back on track with impressive performances in the coming weeks.

There is no doubt that he is a technically gifted player with immense potential. However, he has never been a prolific goalscorer and replacing Kane would be a difficult challenge for him.

It remains to be seen whether Tottenham are prepared to cash on him and sign a more reliable finisher in the upcoming windows.
