Tottenham are not the only English club offered the chance to sign the player and it remains to be seen whether they take the opportunity to secure his signature. The striker has been in phenomenal form this season, scoring 18 goals across all competitions already.
He has a £15 million release clause in his contract and he could be available for a reasonable price. The transfer could prove to be a masterstroke if he can continue his impressive run of form in the Premier League as well.
