Tottenham Hotspur winger Bryan Gil has been linked with a move away from the club at the end of the season.
A report from Football Insider claims that the 23-year-old is unhappy with his situation at the north London club, and he is likely to return to his homeland in the summer. It is evident that his transfer to Tottenham has not worked out and he has played just 42 times in all competitions, since joining the club in July 2021.
Gil needs to play more often at this stage of his career and moving away from Tottenham will be ideal for him. It will be interesting to see where he ends up. He is still only 23 and he has got plenty of time to get his career back on track and fulfil his tremendous potential. He was regarded as one of the finest young talents in Spanish football before he moved to Tottenham.
Bryan Gil needs a fresh start
The winger was linked with a move away from the club at the start of the season as well. However, he chose to stay at Tottenham and fight for his place. His plan has not worked out so far and he has struggled for game time this season.
It is no secret that Tottenham need more quality in the wide areas and they will have to replace the 23-year-old adequately if he leaves in the summer. It remains to be seen whether they can sign a quality goalscoring winger who is hostile enough to operate on either flank.
