Tottenham Hotspur are looking to sign a quality striker in the coming months and they have identified two potential options.
A report from Fichajes claims that Ivan Toney and Victor Osimhen are on their transfer wishlist. Toney has been outstanding for Brentford in the Premier League and Osimhen helped Napoli win the league title last season.
Both players could prove to be tremendous acquisitions for the North London club and remains to be seen whether they manage to get a deal done. Apparently, Toney is the first choice for the North London outfit and they could look to move on to Osimhen if they fail to sign the Premier League striker.
The 27-year-old Brentford striker is currently suspended for breaching the FA gambling regulations, and he will return to action in January. Meanwhile, Osimhen is keen on leaving Napoli after the club’s official social media channels mocked the player with TikTok posts.
The report claims that Tottenham are ‘willing to explore negotiation possibilities’ for the Nigerian striker who is valued at €120 million. Osimhen is one of the best strikers around and he could be the ideal replacement for Harry Kane who was sold earlier this summer.
Tottenham have not decided to bring a quality replacement for the England international yet, and it remains to be seen whether they are prepared to sell out a premium for the Napoli striker in the coming months.
