Nicolo Zaniolo has been linked with a move away from Galatasaray at the end of the season.
According to a report from Tutto Juve, he could be on the move this summer with a number of clubs interested in securing his services.
Although he joined the Turkish club at the start of the year, he has a release clause in his contract and Galatasaray will be powerless to stop him from leaving if the exit clause is triggered.
The midfielder can be signed for a fee of €35 million and clubs like Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur are ‘dreaming of signing’ him.
It is no secret that Tottenham need to sign a creative midfielder and Zaniolo is versatile enough to operate as a winger as well. The former Roma midfielder has been linked with Tottenham in the past and it remains to be seen whether Spurs can get the deal across the line.
Tottenham will have to strengthen their squad sufficiently in order to get back into the top four and challenge for trophies next season.
Zaniolo has the potential to develop into a quality player for them. The Italian attacker is certainly good enough to play in the Premier League and working under a manager like Ange Postecoglou could help him realise his potential. The Australian manager has done well to maximise the talents of his players throughout his managerial career and he could get the best out of the 23-year-old as well.
The reported asking price seems quite reasonable for a player of his potential and he could justify the outlay in the coming seasons.
