Tottenham and Manchester United have reportedly opened talks with Ajax over the transfer of Dutch midfielder, Donny Van de Beek, according to Spanish outlet Sport.

He has been linked with high-profile moves to teams like Real Madrid before now and it seems only a matter of time before he joins a top side.
The report claims that the midfielder has now emerged as a target for Manchester United and Tottenham, but both might not land him.
This is because he has his mind is set on a reunion with De Jong at Barcelona and he is hoping that Ronald Koeman will make a move for him.
The report claims that Ajax values him at £49m, a fee that Spurs might struggle to pay in light of the current realities.
Spurs have been busy in this transfer window, but their spending hasn’t reached £20m yet, though the imminent signing of Matt Doherty will take the spending to £30 million.
