Premier League ace makes decision on future amid interest from Tottenham

By Mehdi Gokal -

Since Ange Postecoglou’s arrival, Tottenham Hotspur has conducted successful transfer business over the past two windows.

Spurs have recently secured notable signings such as James Maddison, Guglielmo Vicario, Micky van de Ven, Pedro Porro, and Radu Dragusin, among others.

Another player that has been linked with Spurs since the last couple of transfer windows is Fulham defender Tosin Adarabioyo.

The North London outfit has been monitoring the experienced Fulham centre-back who has been rumoured to be considering a move away from Craven Cottage at the end of the season.

Adarabioyo’s current contract is set to expire this June, and it has been reported that Fulham are in talks with the player regarding a new contract.

However as per the latest report from Football London, the player has made a decision about his future and that is move on.

With the player deciding to leave on a free, Tottenham and Manchester United will both be on high alert.

Adarabioyo had a challenging start to the campaign, as he missed the earlier half due to a groin surgery, sidelining him for nearly three months and causing him to miss 11 games for Fulham.

However, the former England U19 international hasn’t looked back and has made 20 league appearances thus far, even scoring 2 goals.

The ex-Manchester City academy product transferred to Fulham in 2020, concluding an 18-year tenure with City for a modest fee of €1.65 million.

With nearly 200 combined appearances in the Premier League and Championship, the 26-year-old has attracted interest from both Spurs and the Red Devils.

As the summer transfer window is on the horizon, Adarabioyo is set for a big career move.

TBH Says:

While he will no doubt be a great addition to the team, we feel it is unlikely that he will choose Spurs over Manchester United.

And that is bevause of the lack of first-team opportunities he might get at Spurs given that the likes of Romero and Micky van de Ven have been incredible this season.

On the other hand, United’s defensive problem is evident and they will be needing bolstering.
