This Is The 3rd Time Tanguy Ndombele Has Been Named & Shamed, Yet Still The Pundits Pile On Josè

The idea that a club record signing ought to be treated like a piece of fine bone china is quite a curious one. This is a 23-year-old that clearly has issues when it comes to maintaining fitness levels.

This is the third time that the midfielder has been pulled up by professional coaches. This piece from The Telegraph will assist those still struggling to understand why José has been such a meany.

ESPN this time round with some frankly remarkable opinions from football pundits, both foreign and domestic. Neither Julien Laurens nor Steve Nicol can believe that José has had the audacity to publicly chide Tanguy NDombele!

Good on Jose imo. N’Dombele has been stealing a living from the moment he set foot in the shopping centre. Absolute waster brings nothing to the party.

Jose is a nasty little snake. He’d grass his best mate to get himself off the hook. Not a nice man by all accounts.

A serial winner though! 😂

Jose will have his tongue up Tanguy’s backside when he scores a winner and bails him out. Jose is a two faced £itch…

Football is a team sport, singling out one player over others who were also poor will only make the whole squad feel the manager isn’t even handed.

Anyone who thinks that Tanguy is the only one to be affected by this approach of bleating to the media are very much mistaken.

Tanguy might be a problem, he might have reasons and he should be told when he’s been rubbish. But in public? to the media?

Fack off Jose, you’re full of $hit more than ever and your style of football is an abomination…

This is the problem when you have a chairman in complete control of all transfer business.Does anyone think Paul Mitchell would have supported buying this guy,no he would have done due diligence on him and decided he was not for us.And he is now proving his worth at Leipzig. The irony for Levy now is that the is very little chance of getting his money back if Mourinho wanted him gone.

Iv’e joked about this boy’s physical and mental condition before , and there does not seem to be any improvement in him, which has to be a worry. I dont think outing Ndombele in the way Mourinho has done is the best way, but clearly this boy is not getting the message, so maybe its the manager’s way of driving home that message to make him understand . Management of players has completely changed from the days you could say and do whatever it took to motivate , but then it stayed private between the manager , player and club. Players now cant take a real telling off, as that would damage their ever so fragile ego, it’s a different world we live in, this situation is typical of that.

Nothing is more telling than the fact André Gomes can break and dislocate his ankle playing us in November and not only get it repaired but be back in the starting line up for Everton quicker than Tanguy can bother to get fit over the course of a pre and 2/3rds of a season.
José is bang on with his comments, if anything he’s been too diplomatic.

Maureen is right that N’Dombele has either a fitness or a character problem or both. The question is does castigating him in public work? It didn’t work when he did it at Utd and it is something Ferguson never did in public. Levy won’t like to see the value of his record signing plummeting either. It is now quite clear why no top European team came in for him but nevertheless, one of a manager’s jobs is acting is knowing how to get the best out of their players. They are not robots and need to be treated accordingly to their personalities, ie, good man management which this is not.

1-0 down to the Burnley around 30 minutes into the first half, watching him casually stroll to take a corner kick infuriated me.. This guy used to be a 25 stone fatty if i believe right? That was a warning sign in itself. Unless there is something medically wrong then there is no excuse for becoming fat, especially when you compete in a sport that involves running… Lo celso on the other hand is an absolute baller, under half the price too.. Love watching giovanni man handle some players, a bit of steel and grit and dirt (we have really been missing both mooses, dembele, sissoko) Lo celso can become better than tintin we should have high hopes for the lad.
