“They are still keen” – Sky Sports man shares encouraging Tottenham transfer update

By Mehdi Gokal -

Tottenham have signed several players this summer and they continue to be linked with a few more as we approach the final couple of weeks of the transfer window.

They most recently completed the big money signing of Dominic Solanke from Bournemouth to address their striker issue, hoping to fill in the void left by Harry Kane.

They have also extended Timo Werner’s loan deal by one year to add depth in their attack. Despite this, it is reported that they could yet sign another wide attacker along with a midfielder.

Michael Bridge from Sky Sports reports that Tottenham are focused on securing a dynamic midfielder and a winger before the summer transfer window closes.

Bridge stated the following on the Sky Sports’ transfer round-up:

“Tottenham’s new signing Dominic Solanke is ready to start against Leicester next Monday but they are still keen to sign an energetic midfielder and a winger this window.”

Solanke, who has signed a six-year deal with Spurs, is expected to be a central figure in the team’s attack, starting with their season opener against Leicester. His arrival is seen as a big step in bolstering Tottenham’s attack.

Spurs continue to be linked with several names, including Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze.

Despite Eze recently extending his contract with Palace until 2027, the Lilywhites are reportedly prepared to make a significant investment to bring the talented winger to North London.

In addition to bolstering their attack, Tottenham have already strengthened their midfield this summer by signing Archie Gray for a reported £40 million.

However, the club remains determined to further enhance this area and have shown interest in several players including Conor Gallagher and Jacob Ramsey.

While a move for Gallagher now appears unlikely, Ramsey could still be signed if they make a tempting offer.
