Now, the results are beginning to show themselves. Sure, the same group is modest, but surely only a fool would try to play down what are obvious signs of improvement.
For me, the chances created is where the magic lies. These make Harry a more rounded player, a more interesting player, a player who is playing more for the team, opposed to spending his entire time trying to grab a winning touch. Sonny has been an obvious beneficiary, and yet Kane’s shots and goals have also increased!
The new Kane and Son partnership is a notable result of Mou’s influence. As for Merson the less said the better.
I was really worried last season as it looked as though Jose was spending every minute coaching defensive tactics, without much aplomb may I add, and our attack was stifled. Without Kane and Son we just didn’t have the personnel to do it at times which compounded matters. Too often though it looked like we had no plan when attacking and we looked awfu to watch, even if some results went our way. It was obvious to all, an overhaul was needed, but this was the case 2 seasons ago. The signings have changed the whole dynamic at Spurs. We look better (Everton game excluded), Jose has strong competition for places and the 6-1 v Utd was superb. With 3 world class forwards we need to kick on because we have a string of difficult games soon, so if we can (and we should) dispatch West Spam we can build confidence to face bigger challenges and get the points stored away.
Dumb fkrs thought Jose would come here and disrespect our traditions. Even dumber fkrs thought Daniel levy would let him. (Its in the unwritten contract) Our style of play is important to Daniel levy. Haters (who know fk all) don’t know this. Too busy hating see.
So much for Maureens boring football and parking the bus… Smashing Manure 6-1 at half strength was a joy.. Pretty football and finish fourth (the apparent spurs way),, or beautiful football and finish champions with multiple titles… I know which I’d prefer.
