The most likely Tottenham starting XI that Conte will go with against Norwich City

By Bruce Grove -

Under previous managers it was difficult to know what sort of side the manager would go with, they seemed to change it every week and it never quite worked out.

Conte is unlikely to fall into that same trap, he will not keep experimenting with players that he does not deem good enough, his track record has proven that. He is loyal to players that produce the results he desires and that is why we will not see wholesale changes from one Premier League game to another.

Spurs are going for their third Premier League win in a row and if results go their way this weekend they could actually end up in fourth spot, no idea how that has come about based on our season but that is where we are at right now.

I suspect that Conte will go with the team that started against Leeds United last weekend apart from Harry Winks who will probably be benched in favour of Oliver Skipp.

Probable team to face Norwich City

Lloris
Tanganga
Dier
Davies
Royal
Skipp
Hojbjerg
Reguilon
Son
Kane
Moura

If there was one player that may be at risk of being dropped it would be Moura but I just do not see Conte doing that.

Let us know in the comments below if you think Conte will go with a different starting lineup.

I think he’ll probably stick with Sanchez, but other than that, yes, he wont change, which does bode the question when will he change it because 10 games in 30 days or whatever it is, is probably unsustainable for the same 11.

So why not enjoy the ride. It is more productive to come here and complain about how terrible we are? Chelsea got beat so if we hang in there and stay ahead of the pack behind us, we can ride the wave for a minute, pass Arsensal tomorrow and see if WH slip next game. If we are working it like chess we will be right there in the top 4 for a bit.

The problem is they are not at City or nowhere else they are playing for Spurs. Why can’t we just root for what we have? The same team will start from Thursday. Why make changes for the sake of it. We are not that good and Conte has indicated he found a few good men to carry out his mission. Get on board.

You’re probably spot on Bruce. The problem is how many of these lads would start on City, Chavs or Liverpool? Harry. Maybe Sonny and Hobby? Therein lies the rub.

Scary that players in this side aren’t being pushed for their places with the exception of whether you pick Sanchez or Tanganga

Injuries apart, this is realistically our strongest side, and I wouldn’t see Conte deviating from it.However it’s outside this eleven where our problems lie.We have such a poor bench.

Moura, with his energy and intensity, is essential to breaking the lines and pressing and winning the ball back. When he and Son (and previously Rose) don’t play our intensity drops noticeably.

Yes we will probably get into 4th…temporarily. But that won’t stop the knee jerks coming out and saying we’re going to win everything this season.
