Talk Of Wembley Boycotts

By The Boy -

There are many memorable lines in The Thick Of It, and a particularly good one from Peter Mannion MP goes as follows:

“Have you ever Googled your own name? It’s like opening a door to a room where everyone tells you how sh*t you are.”

The good name of our beloved chairman has been dreadfully abused of late and the most sympathetic response I can rustle up is, ‘it’s been long time coming’.

Only this wretched fringe faction, the Levyologists watch football in order to coo over Net Spend columns, or believe ENIC are generally a force for good in the world.

Look, we’ve been over this too many times, so here’s a Venn Diagram that in nutshell explains the problem.

What Fans Want

So it’s no surprise that Poch’s comments about top 4 finishes being everything and cups are for losers has caused such ire in the ranks.

Fans are angry with Levy though, because this is his wretched doctrine.

Increased assets, diminished the team

You couldn’t make it up

#ENICOUT

Time for a boycott?

There are far too many obscene comments that I cannot actually post.

Club no longer about football

The general consensus is that Pochettino isn’t going to be aided in his efforts any time soon.

The unhinged maniacs that have been mumbling this propagandist guano about building have all fallen silent.

It’s little wonder.

Who could be so stupid as to believe that Levy has the same hopes and desires for the club that the fans have?

For the umpteenth time, this is an identical business model to the Arsenal one.

It’s a horrible plan.

Boycotts are unlikely, football fans do insist on confusing loyalty to a club with indulging exploitative owners.

For anyone still harbouring thoughts of goodwill towards ENIC, think on this.

When this dreadful shopping centre is finally open, we’ll owe so much money, you can sit there in your heated seat and watch No’Cludedo dart about. Yes! The same absolute waste of flesh that couldn’t get a game a Burnley.

On what basis?

We’ve got less games now which will suit our squad, Manure won’t keep winning every game and currently we have a 7 point lead over them. We’ve been in great form until recently when lets face it, 3 of our key players have been missing.

We should get top 4, I’ll be shocked if we don’t.

Sly bruh, the problem isn’t just adding players who can challenge for the first XI, the problem is going to be replacing our best who decide to fk off to a better run club that actually wants to win things. Eriksen, Son, Dele, Kane, Toby all likely to be heavily targeted in the next 2-3 windows. And who could blame them for leaving for Madrid, Barca, or following Poch to United, when the bald midget wank stain shows no interest in building a squad capable of proper rotation so they don’t all end up run into the ground and injured, much less building a squad capable of winning multiple trophies. Baldy out.

We’ll get through this. We are TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR FOOTBALL CLUB in Tottenham. All I care about is being able to add big difference players to the first eleven for next season. (One now would be nice) In other words top four or winning the champions league. The team will be up for it in our new place you watch. This time next year top of the league. Lucky young fans who think football is just a game. It all starts here for them. 🙂

Our club, the one we grew up watching is gone. People will say that’s dramatic, I don’t think so. Swallowed up by the enic sports and leisure division. No identity. No home. No ambition. Until there’s serious investment it won’t change. But we got the best training ground in the universe. I knew that when I watched nocluedo yesterday

We should support the team, not the owners.

Boycotting Wembley would be two things… firstly easy, because everybody’s had enough of the place anyway, secondly it would be counter productive.

There will never be enough fans at a club the size of Spurs serious enough to keep boycotting to extent that it would worry ENIC.

Whatever I feel about ENIC and Levy (I’ve made my position pretty clear as many of you have) I want us to remain in the top four and in the Champions League, I like the manager and the first 11-12 players. Why should they lack our support just because of the cunts upstairs?

Some big banners for the TV cameras to see, some passionate singing about the lack of ambition to win anything at board level, some well prepared protesting would do far more to embarrass ENIC and Levy than dropping the numbers at Wembley by a few thousand. Then what happens, all the ST holders bin their seats in the new place after waiting two years?

This is going nowhere, support the team, support Posh and once we’re in the new place we’ll really get to see the direction of travel. Protests inside the Shopping Mall won’t look good on televised match days will it?

The only way forward is to get Levy and toxic ENIC out of the club.
Any form of protest would help but hitting them in their pockets is the only way likely to have any effect.

It’s nice that other fans are using the same terms such as destroying the club cos that’s precisely what’s happening. The same terms I’ve used and been mocked for.
The shock coming back on here a few years back and being only one of a handful who were warning of what these parasites were up to was jarring. Of course partly leading to an exodus. Now things are slowly disintegrating a wave is forming on the horizon. I really hope fans in droves boycott Wembley and drown these fuckers.

FA CUP 4th round: – Barnet3 v Brentford 3

WHAT. A. GAME.

The magic of the FA Cup is alive and kicking at The Hive as substitute Dan Sparkes curles a free-kick over the Brentford wall and in off the underside of the bar.
David Beckham in his prime would have been proud of that one!

What a crazy, crazy tie this is.
