Supporters Trust Out Of Their Depth Again

By The Boy -

The ticketing for Wembley has been announced and of course the wankers at the Supporters Trust are left stood staring at their underpants around their ankles, wondering why their bottoms hurt.

Usually mediocre people lack ambition but the Trust are grand masters at wanting to be perceived as an invaluable cog in some process or other.

The pitiful truth is that intellectual capacity of the Trust is probably (although yet to be proven) sufficeint to choose ketchup sachets or drinking straw packaging.

It’s therefore regrettable that they’ve attempted to involve themselves in the move.

Now you have to bare in mind throughout all of this that the Trust continuously championed Wembley as an option the moment it was probable we would have need of a temporary home. The Trust even went as far as pitching the unhinged fear that should Spurs play outside London then we …might not come back!

All other option were decried by the Trust because they were fixated with the fantasy of being somehow instrumental in Spurs at Wembley.

I can understand how people who aren’t very bright could be overwhelmed by those three little words. ‘Spurs at Wembley’.

After all, when we were all growing up, they used to mean something.

Hiring Wembley has been an indefensibly stupid move and now the Trust are bitching about not liking the fine-tuning.

I can’t be bothered to wade through the minutia of the Trusts statements, the bottom line is very straightforward. The Trust unthinkingly pushed and pushed and pushed for Wembley and now it’s here it’s slowly dawning upon them that it’s not ideal and we haven’t even started playing in anger there yet.

The financial constraints that would inevitably be placed upon THFC (irrespective of whatever venue they moved to) would never indulge any of the Trust’s infantile neediness to ‘play at Wembley’.

There’s no amnesty. There was never any hope of one and it was deceitful of the Trust to misrepresent that there might have been.

What is nothing shy of extraordinary here is this line from the Trust’s response to the pricing details released. ‘The lack of a blanket amnesty means we now need to focus on how to practically minimise difficulties for fans who will struggle travelling to and from Wembley next season.’

These pompous lunk-heads lobbied for the wretched place and now it’s an onerous trek?

Now it’s a fucking inconvenience?

You couldn’t make it up.

Levy was only ever going to be presented with one choice when we moved and that was to stand with a straight bat when it came to pricing, which he effectively has.

Please don’t confuse anything I publish in relation to this whole business with gloating. I was predominantly shouted down. The only thing that will divert this fiasco is replicating our White Hart Lane form to Wembley. My gut instinct is that we stand more chance of signing Lionel Messi than achieving a fraction of that.

Anyone unhappy about ticketing arrangements/pricing at Wembley only have themselves/the clowns they placed their ‘trust’ in to blame.

What did you expect? Free bunting, free food, free blow jobs, free Cadillac rides there and back?
