‘Stealing a living’ – Jamie O’Hara furious with Tottenham man after draw against Everton

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur were held to a draw against Everton in the Premier League last night, and former midfielder Jamie O’Hara has hit out at the interim manager Cristian Stellini.

Tottenham took the lead when Harry Kane put the Londoners ahead from the penalty spot. The visitors were very much the team in charge for most of the game and they should have increased their advantage.

Instead, Tottenham were lacking in intent, and they seemed quite content to pass the ball around the back and control possession.

The north London us were duly punished towards the end of the game. After the sending off of Lucas Moura, Everton defender Michael Keane smashed a stunning last-gasp equaliser.

A win over Everton could have put Tottenham in a commanding position as far as top-four qualification is concerned. Instead, the Londoners continue to drop valuable points at a crucial juncture of the season.

O’Hara has questioned the intent of the team and the management of Stellini after the game and he labelled the interim Tottenham manager as clueless and urged the club to get rid of him.

“Spurs go 1-0 up, they’re passing the ball around the back, Jason [Cundy]. It was like a Sunday league training session; I’ve seen better non-league players! Spurs were useless, hopeless, shocking management.”

“Stellini, he can do one! Get out [of] the club, what is he doing there? He’s clueless as well. They go down to 10 men and he’s playing three at the back, against 10 men. Get out, get them out, the lot of them”, he said on talkSPORT.

Tottenham have been linked with a number of managers in recent weeks including the former Bayern Munich manager Julian Nagelsmann, who has recently been sacked by the German club.

The 35-year-old could prove to be an exciting addition, and it will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to bring him in before the end of the season.

Top-four qualification is clearly at stake and Tottenham cannot afford to slip up every week.
