However, every team that has won trophies has had quality in depth and that might be the reason why Tottenham is looking to sign Kessie.
Kessie is a powerfully built midfielder who is just 23 and he would most likely challenge for a place in the current Tottenham midfield.
The report claims that Spurs are not alone in the race to sign him, adding that Arsenal is also looking to land him.
The Gunners signed Thomas Partey in the last transfer window, but injuries have become a part of him which might be the reason why they want Kessie.
