Interest in £43M+ rated star may point towards an unexpected exit of one or two from Tottenham

By The Boy -

A few days ago, TuttomercatoWeb told us that Spurs’ interest in Milan Škriniar was paused after Inter advised they were not looking for a payment plan for the Slovak. Which must have caused Daniel Levy to pull an interesting face.

However, Calciomercato (among many) believe that Inter’s current gaffer, Antonio Conte, could yet walk or be pushed from the coach’s role at Inter. Were Conte to leave, this might secure Škriniar’s future in Italy, as it has been suggested that the former Chelsea gaffer was not a big fan of the 25-year-old.

Transfermarkt value the centreback at just over £40million and it ought to be noted that this IS the player’s post-COVID-19 price.

Now, IF Spurs are truly determined to land such a quality player, that would heavily suggest that fans could expect at least or possibly even two notable exits from Spurs this summer.

Personally, I would be delighted to see Jose Mourinho get stuck in and show the squad the ‘churn’ of players that was so desperately missing under his predecessor. The whole business of being happy with a squad that cannot deliver great results is too flawed for words.

Moving on Harry Winks and Dele Alli (for example) would reinvigorate the club no end.

If we sold and received as much as 50 mil for both Deli Alley & Sideways Winks, I’d be very surprised.

Should get decent money for Dele, if Levy is sensible about the valuation that is…….then again !

Does no one else think 5 centerbacks is too much? Especially since theyre all capable of being regular starters. Me thinks we should sell sanchez or dier and free up some funds

I like the sound of Skrinny. Good profile, I think he has something to prove and would do well here.

Can’t seriously believe after last season that people would rather move on Dele that NDom.

Dele scores goals though. Always will. He suffers from the standards he set in the past – we expect it from him again. If any other player chips in with 8 goals and 4 assists we would be singing their praises.

Arsenal sold Iwobi to Everton last season for £35m. He’s never got anywhere near these sort of numbers. Different positions I know but still both attacking midfielders.

Yeah, I thought about Moura as a potential sale too but he played so well the last few games I’d say he’s the one to keep of those

Getting rid of Alli and Winks would affect our home grown quota although I can’t wait to sell Alli with his air of self entitlement but I keep asking myself what is he currently worth? I agree with SpursGoliath that I would be happy to see Sissoko and Lamela sold.

Harold, I don’t like this but I agree with you. Dele thinks he’s untouchable and has done naff all for the last two seasons. Aurier, Foyth and Winks should be sold too

problem with moving on Winks and Dele is you then have to enter the even more over inflated and often bad value for money market for UK and ‘homegrown’ players

maybe morea case of “come in Lamela and Sissoko, your time is up”?
