Tottenham will reportedly assess the fitness of youngster Oliver Skipp today in the hope of having him back in action for the Crystal Palace game on Saturday.
Skipp had been forced out of England Under-21 international duty with a tight groin, but it seems the injury might not be as bad as initially feared, according to the Evening Standard.
This could mean the 20-year-old can feature this weekend, in what could be a big boost for Nuno Espirito Santo.
Skipp looks an exciting prospect for the future but has been limited to going out on loan and playing occasional League Cup matches for Spurs in his career so far.
The report adds that Son Heung-min and Steven Bergwijn will also be assessed, though Ryan Sessegnon is not expected to be fit and available for the Palace game.
Son has been one of Tottenham’s most important players for some time now, and the club will no doubt be eager to get him back as soon as possible, though they also won’t want to take any risks with his fitness in case it leads to a longer spell on the side-lines.

I see the toll these International games take on players and FIFA want to hold The World Cup every two years. They couldn’t care less about players welfare, just more loot for them and their cronies.
