The news that the fans had been waiting for, is finally in.
Vincent Janssen has been allowed to leave the Naughty Step and is now in rehab, with a view to training next week.
What is extraordinary here – beyond the business of the player being relegated to ball boy or washer-upper or whatever he’s been doing – is that he’s managed to pick up injuries even whilst not playing.
Above are the 24 year old’s only appearances for Spurs this year. Which tells us that Vinny last kicked a ball in a real match back in January.
There’s a couple of there, which suggests he didn’t exactly stroll about looking bored when he did get a chance, even for our U23 squad.
A falling out with Poch? Caught putting super glue in Harry Kane’s Brylcreem?
Answers on a postcard.
There’s nobody there, mate.
Ha – true. I was more thinking we have these u18’s that are apparently the future and the validation behind “world class” training facilities…why not give one of them a bench spot?
So vinny is back to warm the bench…Am I the only ones that think we should be promoting youth at this point.
