Spurs still want Serie A ace but face new competition

By Bruce Grove -

Sempreinter claims that Tottenham is still interested in signing Napoli striker, Arkadiusz Milik.

The striker was one of Tottenham’s top transfer target as they looked for a striker in the summer.

The Lilywhites had wanted to sign another attacker that would help reduce the goalscoring burden on Kane.

They considered a move for Milik before they landed Carlos Vinicius.

Milik missed out on leaving Napoli, and he has now been frozen out of the Naples side.

The January transfer window will offer him another chance to leave the club, and it is now being claimed that Inter Milan wants to sign him.

The report claims that Inter wants him to become the backup for Romelu Lukaku, but they will have to see off competition from Spurs and other teams.

Vinicius is only at Tottenham on a season-long loan deal, and the striker might not be offered a permanent deal if Spurs realise that signing Milik would be cheaper.

Although he hasn’t played any football this season, Milik remains a top striker and he is even more established than Vinicius.
