Tottenham are being linked with a number of players ahead of the January transfer window.
There is a need to bolster the squad in multiple fronts with the priority being a defender and a midfielder at the least.
But they are also being linked with another attacker due the expected absence if Son during the Asian Cup games in January.
One of the attacker linked with the club is Juventus attacker Federico Chiesa, as reported by Italian outlet Calciomercato last month.
In latest developments, Tutto Juve has claimed that the 26-year-old is currently in process to begin discussions regarding a contract extension, with his current contract expiring in 2025.
Meanwhile, the report claims that behind the scenes, Spurs are among the number of top clubs who are vying a move for him. It states that Spurs have ‘began to move heavily’ for the versatile Italy international.
It further adds that if Chiesa impresses in the upcoming Euros, Juventus could be offered upto €80m for him.
The winger maybe injury prone but he has proven to be world class.
He scored 34 goals and assisted 25 in 153 games for Fiorentina which attracted interest from Juventus.
They signed for the Serie A giants in 2022 and has scored 27 goals and 22 assists since then.
He would be a terrific signing for Ange Postecoglou who is said to be keen on bringing in a left-sided attacker. But they will face competition from Newcastle who are also reportedly keen on securing his services.
