Spurs Linked With Fiorentina Striker Described As Being Of “inestimable value”

By The Boy -

Italian outlet Calciomercato believes that a whole host of clubs including Leipzig, Milan, Rome, Atlético Madrid, and Arsenal are interested in acquiring the services of Dusan Vlahovic.

The 21-year-old is currently on the books of Serie A side Fiorentina, currently enjoying his third season – which has also been his most prolific in front of goal – where the Serbian has produced 12 league goals so far. Last season the Belgrade-born boy only netted 6 goals in that competition. Teamtalk had previously linked the player with interest from Tottenham.

It was Calciomercato that rather enthusiastically referred to Vlahovic as being a treasure of inestimable value, which may prove to be a rather excitable description, especially given Transfermarkt‘s estimated valuation of just £22.5million.

My big concern with this kid is that his total successful actions (this includes his every interaction with the ball) is only 33.7% which is not just worse than Harry Kane’s, but it’s worse than Carlos Vinicius. This leads me to believe that Dusan Vlahovic may not be technically proficient enough to survive in the Premier League. This may be a subject of debate, but I’d personally prefer someone with a more positive profile.

Twenty one year olds especially strikers tend not to be the finished article, wonder what Harry’s stats were at the same age?
