Dele Alli’s mooted loan move to Paris Saint Germain is still a distinct possibility, despite their being just days to run until the Premier League’s summer transfer window closes. A source close to Tottenham Hotspur believes that the French giants are currently keen to work out a split on our 24-year-old’s wages, and that Spurs ideally want 100% of Dele’s salary covered.
My own speculation is that Mourinho is happy for Dele to stay at Spurs, however, only on the proviso that he comes to train, and not his brother. Equally, José is concerned about his squad’s wage bill and doesn’t need £100,000 a week tied up on a boy that isn’t playing.
Daniel Levy has played a blinder so far, working our extended payment plans with other clubs in order to get the Portuguese what he needs. Fingers crossed there are no pieces of the puzzle missing, or opportunities missed due to sentimentalism.
“Chum” teams. Bait
How many air miles is that lot? Mourinho made a point in one of his interviews that Champs League usually involves shorter travel distances due to Europe’s footballing powerhouses being mainly on the western side of Europe.

Awesome me thinks.
Watching Dele play last night, I’d be very happy for him to stay. He needed a kick up the backside and it looks like having the desired effect. Dele has work to do to get a place back in the starting XI but he’s a great option to have on the bench. Squad looks good.
Nice, welcome aboard.
Benfica announces season-long loan of striker Carlos Vinicius to Tottenham
Keep him as a super sub along with Aurier who can rotate/cover Doherty. Levy needs to understand that this is how successful clubs operate, the alternative is to have our campaign hijacked by fatigue, injuries and suspensions which are the exact things that have prevented our tangible success so far, despite being a top team most of the season. It needs to be drilled into the little bean counter that football is actually a squad game not a team game if you want trophies and regular top 4 every season. Either he bites the bullet and for once backs a manager or he can see the club go backwards. His choice. Invest to reap the rewards or save money and slide.
