Spurs have ‘accepted’ club’s condition for 23-yr-old, Conte and Paratici ‘well-known admirers’

By Saikat -

Rumours linking Nicolo Zaniolo to Tottenham Hotspur have shown no signs of dying down over the last few days and ASRomaLive have now come forward with another update on the situation.

The Italian outlet are reporting that Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte are ‘well-known admirers’ of the 23-year-old playmaker and they remain keen on signing the player before the transfer window closes.

Furthermore, Roma will only sell Zaniolo for a fee of around €50 million outright or they could be open to loaning the player with an obligation to buy for the reported amount.

ASRomaLive believe that Tottenham ‘have now accepted’ the Italian club’s condition and they will spend the next few days evaluating the situation and decide whether to submit a concrete offer for the midfielder.

Tottenham have had an impressive summer transfer window so far and they have brought in quality players like Ivan Perisic, Yves Bissouma, Richarlison and Djed Spence. Bringing in a quality playmaker will only improve the squad further and Zaniolo could develop into a key player for the London club in future.

There is no doubt that the Italian has the potential to justify the €50 million outlay in the long run and it remains to be seen how the situation develops.

Absolutely bang average. Roma & Mourinho are trying to con us again.
Really hope we do not take him unless we take a chance including a substantial part exchange.

“Consensus here was that he was bang average”
Say no more, why would we possibly sign someone based on that?

Conte and Paratici rate him highly so he must be more than ‘bang average’.

Good thing we have Spurs’ vaunted medical staff and sports science department to ensure his condition is good.

2 cruciate operations one on each knee …missed a lot of football due to injury..taking him on loan may have been a good option but having to buy him at the end of the loan if he breaks down physically is too risky for me..

Really? I thought the consensus here was that he was bang average.
