Spurs considering transfer for slightly underwhelming Harry Kane replacement

By Mark Brus -

Tottenham are reportedly considering Juventus striker Alvaro Morata as one of their potential replacements for Harry Kane should the England forward’s future come into doubt again.

Spurs are said to be keeping an eye on Morata’s situation at Juventus as it’s unclear if he’ll be staying at the club beyond the end of this season, according to Italian outlet Sport Mediaset.

Morata has previously had a spell in the Premier League with Chelsea, and based on that there doesn’t seem to be much of an argument for bringing him to Tottenham.

The Spain international has fared better in other spells in his career, but recently he’s been pretty underwhelming and this link is surely based more on reputation than anything else.

Tottenham fans will surely hope the club can identify someone younger and with more potential if there really does end up being any doubts over Kane again any time soon.

There’s 100% a story.

The pertinent part of this story is that Morata was once considered as a potential back up to HK, which at the time would have been acceptable. Tottenham have fallen so far behind now that the line, “he didn’t want to join us to play second fiddle to HK” will be replaced with “I don’t want to go to Tottenham, they’re shit and they don’t even have HK there anymore for me to play with…”

Fuck off ENIC, fuck off Levy and pity to you idiots that don’t see the misery ahead
