It’s difficult to know what one might learn in a 3-week basic training course in the South Korean Marines. In the US Army, it’s 13 weeks and 32 weeks in the British Army …whose tag line is rather good, by the way, It may seem long, but it has to be. We are turning civilians into commandos.
I would imagine Heung Son-Min got to know where the toilets, laundrette were and what times the bus went out to the local shops, that sort of thing.
Son’s out, and hopefully preparing to come on home.
Southgate knows the damage Marcus and Sancho together cause. Terrorising defenders. Them two balling again for their country in the next world cup, the following one too probably.
We resigned my boy Marcus yet? No? He’ll be back where he belongs soon. Home. That boy just wants the ball to run towards the goal. Simple as that. He’ll take on anyone. I love that player so much. Couldn’t take my eyes off his feet at the lamex, grandson loved watching him too and copying him in the play ground. That boy has to come home. Bit a crowd love he’ll smash it at Tottenham. José bring him home.
‘If anyone could have been a marine then i would never have joined’, is their slogan. Seol south korea. In a country where national service is mandatory, their marines are supposedly elite and are known for rigorous training and harsh discipline. Bad beatings etc.. Only three weeks though H? Maybe he’s had special treatment. Been looked after?…. They salute the same as us anyway 😆
