Solskjaer Bites Back At Keane’s Outburst|video

By The Boy -

The highlight of Friday night’s game was undoubtedly Steven Bergjiwn’s extraordinary strike that David de Gea mishandled, but a close second was surely Roy Keane hitting boiling-point in the Sky Sports studio.

The former Manchester United ace gave the United keeper both barrels over the slip-up as we covered in this video here. De Gea’s bungle was poor, no two ways about it. If you watch the attempted save in slow motion, the ball actually bounces off the cuff of his right glove.

The Man United gaffer’s response in his post-match presser was spot on.

Given the chance I think Keane would have hit Evra when the Frenchman started offering his car for a lift! The host then started talking about social distancing, as if De Gea and Maguire weren’t allowed on the bus! Solksjaer is right to back his players publically, but he knows both the keeper and Maguire messed up.

Roy keane was right again though. De gea calibre usually saves that. De gea has the highest wage of any player (more than de bruyne even) yet he has more blunders in him than most prem keepers this season. Its barthez in disguise!… I dont understand the ‘ball was moving through the air’ nonsense. Doesnt the ball always move through the air when struck? It usually has spin or swerve unless it’s laced right down the middle.. Roy keane would have taken out bergwin before he broke through the line, and peter schmeical would have saved that all day long.. Babyface is doing the right thing protecting his players but de gea normally saves that.
