The two most common declarations on the new appointment in reverse order: The high-pitched defensive voice pleading…” well, I think it’s a good appointment….?” And the horrifying “He got Wolves out of the championship”.
So this is the standard? When Levy annihilated the club’s history and essence and reduced White Hart Lane to rubble in the name of the myth of elite competition. Yes, this is the standard.
Not sure why I have to remind some, but….this former football club ain’t in the championship, I’m sure they will be soon and Nuno could have the chance to show his expertise in that area. Maybe Neil Warnock would have been a better option?
O’Hara says he’s “excited”(shill much?), Levy says he thinks Nuno can do something special……with what?? The same bunch that Jose failed to turn into anything……with no Kane. Do you think Harry Kane is looking at this appointment thinking, ‘ooh, I might stick around?”
At this point, there’s no justification for any of it, including support.
There’s always the ‘just get behind the new fella and support the team’ line, but now, if anyone is going to give these parasites their energy or cash to watch this circus, they are actively funding the demise of THFC.
It’s not supporting the club. It’s not the club anymore. Not only that, but it’s tantamount to paying the kidnappers after they’ve killed your family.
After the facilities, stadium hype, home of Champions League football, the biggest club shop in Europe nonsense we have” he got Wolves out of the Championship.
An NFL and general events arena that doubles up as a vaccination centre. SEND NO FLOWERS. Levy won’t water them.

One hope really to alleviate our financial situation is for our academy to produce another Kane for Nuno as it did for Poch. We failed, ultimately, to fulfil the high promise under Poch, though, because the club didn’t have/wasn’t willing to spend the cash to take us to the next level, because the evil b……s Levy and Lewis were primarily interested in adding to the assets in their property portfolio and enhancing their personal wealth (already considerable, obscene in the case of Uncle Joe) rather than winning league titles and Champions Leagues.
Given their pathetically feeble input (with the fans’ money, too, of course), it’s really quite remarkable that we got as close as we did for a while. I believe the opportunities for success on the pitch has passed and there is unlikely to be a return to such levels under the current regime.
It only leaves me to thank Levy, Lewis, Enic etc., for smashing our dreams.
2020 confirmed that “people are so dumb and stupid to see what is obvious”. We are waiting for the majority to see the light. Thankfully the tide seems to be turning and even the enic apologists are waking up now
There was a window in which we could have locked in being in the top four.
Chelsea, Man United, City and Liverpool had all come off the boil.
Now those clubs have all retooled and its the usual suspects in the top four.
That window has closed now.
That’s it in a Nutshell. You can Throw Your Hat At It.
Well said cheers👍
I don’t really understand why we are having this debate about Paratici and Nuno. Most of the contributors on this site, some earlier than others, have realised by now what is the problem at the club. It is simply the ownership and Levy as the CEO. Quite simply, unless Enic sell the club or Lewis replaces the fu**wit Levy, nothing will change. It is sad but true but it doesn’t matter who the manager is or the D0F, whilst Levy is there, we are caught in a never ending doom loop.
Let us not lose our minds. Kane wouldn’t stay if we had signed Klopp or Pep. A big rebuild is needed and that will take time and a whole load of money. Kane doesn’t have the former and on his side and we do not have the cash. Just like Bale, we need the money from Kane to initiate a rebuild. The problem is the Bale money was hardly used wisely was it? Can history repeat itself? We have Levy don’t we!
Nuno having Wolves on his cv is just as appetising as Poch with Southampton. Poch was dealt a better hand with the squad he inherited that is for sure. No one can see for sure how good or bad Nuno will do but with Sissoko et al in the squad I think we know he will find it just as hard as his two predecessors. Imagine it without Kane!
For all the naysayers; in our predicament, with the squad needing a major overhaul would it matter who Levy had hired? Fans have slated Poch, Mourinho and I am sure Nuno will feel the wrath too. In all the mess we, the fans, should not forget who the villain is here and who deserves the vitriol.
Oooof! Bad Grammer up in lights😲
👍
HH I endorse this post 100%. that is exactly what I keep trying to tell some fans in here who jumps up and down and gets excited for no reason of celebration.nobody can tell me Nuno will succeed where Mourinho failed provided the same conditions. are people so dumb and stupid to see what is obvious, unless there is a big revolution to topple Enic & co happens or they change their ways of doing business in last +20 years no shuffle for managers and players will succeed and it will end as usual circle.
Levy is in la la land. He believes his own spin because he’s been peddling it for so long. You couldn’t make it up. Donna Cullen has probably convinced him that he is a giant amongst dwarfs.
The people inside Hotspur Way seem separated from reality because everything there looks so perfect. We’re a paper tiger.
It is the screaming and shouting of some fans has had the club PR treating them like they were a focus group, whilst all the complaints and noise went on about Mourinho. We even had fans seemingly wanting to lose rather then Jose to win something or the softer version i’ll accept this way of playing whilst we are winning.
DNA is the new buzzword at the Tottenham Stadium.
We had a shot that we could have had a bit of winning might rub off on us, but we then people were to prescriptive in then winning in the right way.
As a fan base we seem rather masochistic in the way we want to win. We only want to win if we don’t do a Leeds, we don’t have oil money, we play in a set way, we don’t just buy player etc etc etc. Then celebrate because we’ve got the longest bar and all that really not important crap to a lot of fans.
We’ve got what we’ve got because of all these conditions, is it any wonder the new gaffer isnt set on winning anything which in my book is like Poch saying only certain trophies count so loosing is okay.
Get the taste of winning and the conditions will just melt away.
