Scottish giants ready to pluck backup goalkeeper Joe Hart from Tottenham

By Eddie Razo -

Tottenham Hotspur will be offloading a goalkeeper following the arrival of Pierluigi Gollini on loan from Atalanta BC. The London-based club is ready to part ways with Joe Hart, who will be joining Scottish giants Celtic FC on a permanent transfer.

The Daily Mail reports that talks have resulted in Celtic offering £1-million with the 34-year-old interested in resuming regular football play. Celtic wanted to upgrade its goalkeeper position as Scott Bain, and Vasilis Barkas struggled for form last term.

Hart is heading to Glasgow for his medical to complete the move where the veteran goalkeeper will make £15,000 per week as salary, per Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano

During his stint as the backup to Hugo Lloris, Hart featured in ten fixtures for the English club where he made appearances in the Europa League, FA Cup, and Carabao Cup.

In his starts, Hart conceded eight goals while having five clean sheets for Tottenham.
