Saudi clubs plotting Tottenham raid in summer for 26-year-old ace

By Saikat -

Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison is reportedly a target for Saudi Arabian clubs.

A report from the Telegraph claims that there have been previous attempts to sign the Brazilian international and the 26-year-old remains on the radar of Saudi teams ahead of the summer window.

Richarlison made a mediocre start to the Premier League campaign but he has picked up form in recent weeks. There is no doubt that he could prove to be a quality acquisition for the Saudi Arabian clubs.

Spurs paid £60 million for the striker when they brought him in from Everton in 2022 and they were not keen on selling the player last year. It will be interesting to see if the Saudi Arabian clubs can convince them to change their stance with a lucrative proposal at the end of the season.

Richarlison has scored 10 goals in the league so far and he will be hoping to finish the season strongly and help Tottenham return to the Champions League.

The player is still only 26 and he should look to continue in a top European league and compete for major trophies for now. He will have plenty of opportunities to move to Saudi Arabia in the near future.

He is certainly good enough to play at a top club and therefore moving to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career might not be a wise decision regardless of the money on offer.

Along with Richarlison, the report from Telegraph claims that players like Mohamed Salah and Kevin De Bruyne are targets for the Saudi Arabian clubs as well.
