Rodrigo Bentancur has equalised with a powerful header from a corner after conceding an early goal through Hwang Hee-chan.
Wolves scored in the 7th minute, and it came from a beautifully worked set-piece with Rayan Ait-Nouri laying the ball off to Hwang outside the box. The South Korean pulled off a stunning curling effort from outside the box straight into the top right corner.
However, Tottenham pulled one back almost immediately. Pedro Porro swings in a corner from the right in a dangerous area. Bentancur, who has only just returned from a 7 game ban, evaded his marker before sending a bullet header past Sa to make it 1-1.

Rodrigo Bentancur return a boost for Ange
Bentancur’s return comes as a timely boost for Spurs, as his presence in midfield will provide much-needed stability and support to a team currently reeling from the heavy loss. His absence has been felt, and with key defenders still sidelined, the Uruguayan’s experience and composure will be vital in the upcoming matches.
His suspension came after comments made during an interview, where he made a culturally insensitive joke about South Korean people while discussing obtaining a jersey from Tottenham teammate Heung-min Son.
Although the remark was intended as a light-hearted joke, it was widely condemned for being inappropriate. Despite public apologising and Son accepting the apology, showing support for his teammate, the FA launched an investigation, which led to the seven-match suspension.
Tottenham appealed the length of the ban, but the FA upheld the full seven-match suspension, which will officially end after the Liverpool match.
He made his return on Boxing Day against Nottingham Forest partnering Pape Matar Sarr in the midfield. However, he failed to make any significant impact as the club lost 1-0 to a side managed by their former manager.
