The German publication Bild decided to play at the gallery yesterday at the Leicester City versus Spurs pre-match press conference. Journalist Max Schrader had arrived with a replica Bayern Munich shirt made up with Kane’s name and a number 9 on the back, and asked Big Ange, ‘What does that look like? It looks quite good, no?’
Ange wasn’t impressed, replying he didn’t know what the lad was on about. The Spurs gaffer wasn’t finished and snapped that it was a long way to come for what was essentially a pretty weak stunt.
That wasn’t it, though. Later that evening, a WhatsApp message was sent by press officer Anthony Marshall to Schrader, letting him know he was now persona non grata.
“Following the incident at today’s press conference, I wanted to inform you as a courtesy that we have asked the organizer of our game tomorrow and in Singapore to revoke your accreditation.”
We know the text of the message because the boy published it in Bild late last night.
‘Because of a jersey? Ridiculous!’ whimpered Schrader, presumably hoping that anyone that found the stunt funny would agree that it was an overreaction by the London club.

TBH Says: Look, anything to liven up the press conferences is welcome in my book, but this was as intellectually sophisticated as a ‘your mum’ joke.
Bild has probably got the clicks they were looking for, but as far as young Max’s reputation goes, this places him well and truly beneath Lee Nelson.
