Tottenham Hotspur striker Richarlison could be on his way out of the club at the end of the season.
The Brazilian has not been able to make the desired impact since joining Tottenham from Everton and has attracted much criticism in recent seasons.
The 27-year-old has struggled with persistent injury problems this season and former Tottenham scout, Mick Brown feels that the player could be on his way out of the club in the summer. He has been linked with a return to Everton.
He said to Football Insider: “I’ve never been the biggest fan of Richarlison if I’m honest. But he’s always a firecracker of a player and he gets the odd goal which would be good for Everton.
“His move to Tottenham has been difficult and now it looks like he’ll be leaving.”
It would be ideal for a Richarlison to move on and join another club. The player needs a fresh start, and Tottenham could also do with an alternative. They paid around £60 million to sign the player, and the transfer has not worked out. It would be ideal for them to cut their losses on the player and move on. It will be interesting to see if they can bring in the right reinforcements during the summer window. They need a dynamic forward, capable of slotting into multiple attacking roles and contributing with goals and creativity.

Richarlison has scored 18 goals in 80 matches for Tottenham in all competitions and that is simply not good enough. Tottenham need a more clinical forward, and it remains to be seen who they end up with.
It has been a disappointing season for Tottenham so far and they are set to miss out on Champions League qualification for the next season. They need better players at their disposal and getting rid of their fringe players should be a top priority for them in the summer.
