Everton winger Anthony Gordon has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park this summer.
The 21-year-old has been an important player for Frank Lampard over the past year and he helped Everton survive a relegation scare last term.
Apparently, the likes of Spurs and Chelsea are keen on signing the player this summer. The youngster is reportedly keen on a move away from Everton and it will be interesting to see where he ends up.
Meanwhile, the young attacker’s post-match gesture after Everton’s 1-1 draw against Brentford has got people talking. The player walked up to the away end after the game and handed his shirt to an Everton fan.
Journalist Ian Darke tweeted that it looked like a farewell gesture.
Gordon is a prodigious talent who deserves to play at a higher level. However, he must join a club where he can play regularly.
If Spurs or Chelsea can offer him regular game time, a move certainly makes sense. However, both teams have quality wide players like Richarlison, Raheem Sterling, Dejan Kulusevski and Christian Pulisic at their disposal.
Sitting on the bench at a top club will only affect his development negatively. It seems Gordon has a crucial decision on his hands now.
That said, Gordon’s gesture might excite his suitors who will feel that there is a remote chance of luring him away from Goodison Park before the window slams shut.

What a pickle..
Maybe he can recall Dele if Gordon leaves? lol.
I’m guessing Lampard walks if Gordon leaves ..I like Gordon but it’s a lot of dough.
