This summer, Tottenham Hotspur will be in the market for a striker to help provide Harry Kane with more support in that depart. Since last year, the north London club has been rumored to be interested in Inter Milan striker Lautaro Martínez.
Manager Antonio Conte had the 24-year-old during his stint with the Italian club, and he’d likely be open to reuniting with the Argentine striker. However, he might not be keen to leave the Serie A giant.
According to TyC Sports journalist Cesar Luis Merlo, despite some European clubs plotting a move for the Argentina international in the summer, the latest reveals that he has no urge to leave Inter Milan at the end of the season.
Furthermore, Merlo adds that although rumors that Inter Milan wants to sell him, no one has communicated that decision to Martínez. Last summer, the Italian side had somewhat of a fire sale, selling two key components to their league title in Romelu Lukaku and Achraf Hakimi.
Nonetheless, it doesn’t seem as though they have plans to repeat that type of sale that will involve Martínez.
