Report – Tottenham remain interested in signing Serie A hitman

Tottenham is still interested in signing Napoli striker, Arkadiusz Milik, according to Express Sports.

One of Spurs’ priorities in this transfer window is to sign a new striker that will act as a backup to Harry Kane.

They have been linked with a number of strikers in this transfer window as the clock winds down on the start of the new season.

The likes of Victor Osimhen and Callum Wilson have been linked with a move to the North Londoners, but they have since joined other teams.

The Express claims that Milik remains one of their targets and he is allowed to leave Napoli this summer.

The Italians used him sparingly last season, but he still managed to score 14 goals for them and he has entered the final year of his current deal with them.

The report further claims that he remains a target for Jose Mourinho’s side and the special one might be launching a bid for him soon.

The report adds that the Polish striker will be allowed to leave for around £26 million and he is interested in moving to the Premier League.

Napoli has tied Dries Mertens to a new deal and they have also signed Osimhen from Lille, these transfer dealings will see Milik fall further down the pecking order and they might reduce their asking price to offload him.
