Report: Tottenham preparing summer offer for £25M rated wing-back

By Eddie Razo -

The wing-back position is one area in the Tottenham Hotspur squad. It will be vital for manager Antonio Conte to see these two positions upgraded now, knowing the north London club will be playing UEFA Champions League football next season.

According to the Daily Express, Spurs have their target in Eintracht Frankfurt’s Filip Kostic. The report adds that the Premier League side had scouts watching the Serbia international against Rangers FC in the UEFA Europa League final and is now ready to make a deal this summer.

Tottenham is reportedly preparing a bid for Kostic, who is rated at around £25-million. The 29-year-old has scored seven goals and 15 assists in 43 appearances this season for the Bundesliga side.

Spurs do have Sergio Reguilon, currently injured, and Ryan Sessegnon available at left wing-back. However, Kostic’s European experience and sheer strength and power are enticing qualities for Tottenham as they prepare for a busier 2022-23 season.
