Report: Tottenham manager is showing personal eagerness to sign ‘fantastic’ midfielder; he is ‘in love’ with him

By Mehdi Gokal -

Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou is poised to sway yet another transfer target to join the club.

Having recently secured the loan signing of Timo Werner from Leipzig and the much-anticipated transfer of defender Radu Dragusin from Genoa, Postecoglou’s influence in attracting players to North London has become evident.

Reports on the transfers suggest that the Australian manager has played a significant role in securing both players for North London.

Italian sports journalist Fabrizio Romano, in a conversation with GiveMeSport, disclosed that Postecoglou directly engaged in a conversation with German international Timo Werner, playing a crucial role in persuading him to choose Tottenham.

And similarly, Postecoglou played a significant role in the transfer of Romanian center-back Radu Dragusin.

According to The Times, the Australian manager assured Dragusin of consistent playing time in England, ultimately convincing the player’s decision to opt for Tottenham over Bayern Munich.

Postecoglou is now reportedly setting his sights on Chelsea captain, Conor Gallagher, a player he is ‘in love‘ with. According to The Time, the Tottenham manager ‘personally wants Gallagher at Tottenham’.

However, signing the ‘fantastic‘ midfielder will not be as easy. Chelsea has set an asking price of approximately £50 million for Gallagher, and manager Mauricio Pochettino is determined to retain the player, intending to build the team around the English core.

TBH Says:

Despite the challenges posed by Chelsea’s high valuation and Pochettino’s commitment to keeping Gallagher, we will remain hopeful and optimistic, especially given our brilliant start to the transfer window.
