Tottenham Hotspur has a few more hours to make any more moves to improve the squad any further as they’re fighting for a top-four spot. The north London club has already begun revamping its midfield, adding Rodrigo Bentancur.

However, they don’t want to stop there. According to French football journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Spurs are among the clubs expressing interest in Brighton & Hove Albion midfielder Yves Bissouma.

Hawkins adds that Brighton isn’t ready to let the 25-year-old go cheap despite Bissouma’s contract expiring next year as they want €45-million. Along with Tottenham, Aston Villa and Manchester United are the other Premier League clubs eyeing the midfielder.

Bissouma has made 15 appearances this season, recording one assist while playing most of the time on the pitch as a defensive midfielder averaging 87 minutes per game.

Since joining Brighton in 2018, he’s made 111 appearances for The Seagulls scoring four goals and recording two assists.

😂 no he’s not a bad player, in fact very good at what he does but just not like the others we were linked with so almost feels like a bum on seat as a posed to what we were looking for/ Conte type player.

The world of football knew about Diaz he is Colombia’s superstar, all big clubs would have been interested. The Juve boys I suspect were just ones he knew he could get done especially when you consider Bentancur didn’t look planned.

Don’t kid yourself that we got mugged, Diaz was never going anywhere else. Could argue that there was little point in wasting time with a bid in the first place, if anything we got mugged off by Porto who clearly knew we were a stalking horse to get Liverpool’s arse into gear.

Weren’t we given the distinct impression that Paratici is supposed to be the man who has all the contacts around the world and be in the know regarding prospective players, haven’t seen that so far tbh.

But isn’t it nicer when you get to help your mates out…..at least we paid for Vlahovic just won’t get to see him in the shirt.

What gets me is Juventus have already replaced Bentacur with Denis Zakaria for €5million plus add ons. 25 years and played for Borussia Monchengladbach, he’s contract was due to expire in the summer. They identified a player and made the deal happen with messing around.

Surely he would have been worth a pint. Cheap, young, played for a progressive team. Would be cheaper then paying the loans fee we’re looking at paying. Surely we must have scouts who look around in other countries than just Italy.

Court case aside. A midfielder that can destroy but is also progressive and Epl proven…far too sensible plus he’s not discounted.

The only ones that mug us off is our own club but it just takes some a while realise it’s happened again.

The most memorable moment from this transfer window will be getting mugged by Liverpool for Diaz… 😂

Yeah, I can see LoCelco and/or Dele staying at this rate. You need bodies and with Gil and Belly out the door unless another attacking midfielder comes in. I thought we might get Doherty out and another option to Royal in though.

Great, great player – 100% what we need…can’t see it happening late in a Jan window

Would love this but can’t see it happening.

From what i’m hearing two players in and two players out.

The two lads from Juve are the only incomings expected.

Gil & Ndombele out.

Lo Celso & Dele deals out are unlikely to happen.
