Matt Law of The Telegraph understands that Fabio Paratici is likely to discover how his role at Tottenham will pan out in a matter of weeks, after being served with a not insignificant suspended prison sentence in Italy.
As we reported yesterday, the Italian mover and shaker denied any wrongdoing; however, on September 22, 2025, the Rome preliminary hearing judge, Anna Maria Gavoni, approved the plea bargains, effectively closing the Prisma case without a full trial. Paratici received a suspended sentence of 1 year and 6 months.
Law said in the Telegraph that:
Fabio Paratici remains a consultant to Tottenham Hotspur after accepting a suspended prison sentence as part of a settlement agreement aimed at finally freeing him of the Juventus financial controversy.
Talks are likely to be held over the coming weeks and months over whether or not Paratici resumes a full-time position at Tottenham, but in the meantime he will continue to be used as a contracted consultant.
It was the case that most sources believed that ‘Don Fabio’ would be out of favour since the departure of Daniel Levy; however, Law understands that he retains a good working relationship with Tottenham chief executive Vinai Venkatesham and technical director Johan Lange.
Stay tuned.
