Reggie Dropped For Davies? Spurs XI vs. Man United

By Ron Carne -

The weekend’s biggest Premier League game sees two sides looking to rebound from humbling derby-day defeats in the last round. Tottenham Hotspur’s 1-0 loss at West Ham United was their fourth Premier League reverse against London-based opponents this term, accounting for all their league losses this season. Their midweek League Cup win over Burnley will have boosted spirits somewhat in what was their fifth competitive game in a row decided by a one-goal margin.

Uh oh, Tottenham Hotspur has lost more Premier League matches against Manchester United than they have versus any other side in the competition 36 in total!

Players to watch might include Harry Kane who has netted four times in this PL H2H, with two of those goals coming last term. Meanwhile, Marcus Rashford’s return to the Man United side has seen him score two second-half goals in three appearances.

Hot stat: No side has registered zero second-half goal attempts more often than Spurs (three) in the PL since the start of last season.

Lot of fans over by the interview area. Wonder if they’ll drown Hunt’s mumbling out.

spurs descision making is shot we have an inability to make goals and to keep them out not the best combo these set of players are a reflection of their chairman and the attitude of the club’s board. the football does not matter

Fernandes is the creative player to Ronaldo a world-class striker and we have Davies marking him, Says it is all about both clubs.

A reflection of Reggies performances maybe, if you look at it without bias.

I genuinely couldn’t give a sh!t about the result of this match. I don’t even feel the usual vaguely humdrum disappointment when Spuds lose these days; just indifference.

The smart money was put on a UTD victory not long after they lost 5 níl. We all know that Spurs will lose and are the Leg up Kings. Sad but true.

I’m not entirely convinced EEA(ENIC events afterthought) won’t win this having looked at it a bit.

Shouldn’t happen at all but ya know….
