Neal Maupay reignited feud with James Maddison with distasteful post on social media.
Tottenham star midfielder James Maddison has been excluded from England’s final 26-man squad for the Euros.
Maddison had initially been named in the 33-man provisional squad and made a substitute appearance against Bosnia in a friendly on Monday, but he failed to impress Gareth Southgate enough to secure a spot in the final selection.
Following the announcement, Everton forward Neal Maupay took the opportunity to mock Maddison.
Maupay posted a picture of himself with darts on his official X handle just hours after the news of Maddison’s omission.

This gesture refers to an incident in February when Maupay imitated Maddison’s trademark dart-throwing celebration after scoring for Brentford against Tottenham.
Maddison confronted Maupay at the time and later had the last laugh when Brennan Johnson scored and celebrated with Maddison in the 2nd half, mocking Maupay.
After the game Maddison remarked that Maupay copied his celebration since he does not score enough to have one of his own.
Maupay responded by stating that he has more career goals and less relegations than Maddison.
