Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Tanguy Ndombele is currently on loan at Turkish club Galatasaray.
The 27-year-old midfielder has not been able to establish himself as a key player for them and he is set to return to his parent club upon the expiry of his loan deal.
According to Turkish publication Karar, Ange Postecoglou ‘does not want’ the French midfielder at the club next season and therefore Tottenham will look to sell in permanently. They are interested in signing Ismail Yuksek from Fenerbahce and the midfielder could cost around €20 million.
Meanwhile, Ndombele is going through a difficult phase in his career and a permanent exit from Tottenham would be ideal for him. He does not have a future at the north London club and he needs to join a club where he will get regular game time.
He was regarded as a world-class talent when he joined Tottenham from Lyon. However, his development has not gone according to plan and he has failed to establish himself as a key player under multiple managers.
It will be interesting to see if the 27-year-old can get his career back on track in the coming months.
Tottenham will have to cut their losses on him at the end of the season and move on. They need to bring in a midfielder who can help them improve and Yuksek could prove to be a quality addition.
It remains to be seen whether Spurs are prepared to pay the asking price for the Fenerbahce star in the summer.
